Dr Theo Acheampong’s book on Petroleum Resource Management in Ghana published by Palgrave MacMillan

Economist and Political Risk Analyst, Dr Theo Acheampong’s co-edited book titled “Petroleum Resource Management in Africa: Lessons from Ten Years of Oil and Gas Production in Ghana” has been published by Palgrave MacMillan.
The learned economist took to facebook to announce the news of the publication.
In a post, Dr Acheampong wrote, “I am excited to announce that our co-edited book titled “Petroleum Resource Management in Africa: Lessons from Ten Years of Oil and Gas Production in Ghana” has been published by Palgrave MacMillan.”
According to Dr Acheampong, the book explores how Ghana has managed its newfound oil wealth and utilised the revenues to drive inclusive economic growth and development after ten years of oil and gas extraction. This is particularly poignant given that some of Ghana’s neighbours and peers that have been producing oil and gas for several decades continue to suffer from the ‘resource curse’ or ‘paradox of plenty syndrome’.
