China to collaborate with Ghana in Data Security agenda

China has shown interest in assisting Ghana in her digitalisation processes.

This comes after China’s Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Lu Kun has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD), Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful on June 8, 2021.

During their discussion which was centred on Data Security, the two countries saw the need to strengthen their digitalisation agendas addressing areas of mutual interest and cooperation.

In attendance were the National Cyber Security Advisor, Dr. Albert Antwi Boasiako; Staff of the Ministry, and representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana.

Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful revealed that “both parties to collaborate in beneficial initiatives. ”
