The Minister for Roads and Highways Kwesi Amoako Attah has disclosed that the Pokuase interchange will be fully completed in July.
In an interview with Accra-based Citi Fm, Mr. Amoako Attah said the work is 98 percent done.
He assured the public that the $94 million interchange which is being done purposely to easing traffic congestion will be done and commissioned in the second week of July.
“The Pokuase interchange has reached about 98 percent completion and at that percentage technically, it can be described as potential completion, and we hope that we will finish everything in less than two months.”
“So by the end of June to mid-July, that project will officially be commissioned because, at that time, we would have attained full completion.”
However, the first phase of the project has already been commissioned by President Akufo-Addo in November 2020.
