Deputy Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture designate Mark Okraku Mantey has revealed the government’s intention to reopen cinemas.
According to Okraku Mantey, president Nana Akufo-Addo has taken into consideration most of the concerns raised about the reopening of the cinemas.
He stated that the film industry has got the assurance of the President that decision will soon be announced after the review by the COVID-19 Task Force.
Cinemas remained closed as of 1st February 2021 where the president addressed the nation on tightened measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
