We’ll take regulatory action against any utility in the power value chain – PURC

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) says it will embark on a regulatory action against any utility in the power value chain.

The body maintained that it will seek justice for any utility that contravenes the regulatory standards and benchmarks.

This decision follows the surge in power outages to customers in recent times due to the total collapse of the transmission network.

A press release dated March 11, 2021, called on consumers to complain to their respective service providers about the erratic power supply.

The statement signed by the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Manu Dufie Ofori urged customers to forward their complaints, if not resolved, to PURC offices in their environs for investigation.
